Broken Resolutions | Breaking Patterns With IET For Success

Broken fluke for IET breaking patterns that create broken resolutions If you’re reading this article, you’ve probably already broken your resolutions. However, don’t be too hard on yourself because you’re not alone. According to Insider, 23 percent of resolutions fail within just one week and 80 percent fail within six weeks. This is because breaking patterns and establishing new habits takes time and effort and, most importantly, it requires more than a simple set of statements and a mental plan.

Why Resolutions Fail

There are many reasons why resolutions aren’t kept and behavior change is so difficult. See my blog posts Why New Year’s Resolutions Fail and The Key to Behavior Change for specifics. Here we deal with persistent underlying behaviors that you may or may not be consciously aware of but consistently thwart your efforts.

Change Needs More Thoughts, Ideas, and a Plan

Even if you’re aware of them, you may not understand how they’re tangled up with other underlying issues. It’s not always possible to think through or reason out complex engrained mental and emotional issues.

Yet, fulfilling and maintaining your resolutions rests squarely on their elimination. In these circumstances, frustration in navigating change is understandable. But, it’s not a matter of thinking your way to success. Instead, your whole person needs to become that success. And, for this, you need more than your thinking mind.

Taking a Holistic Mind-Body-Spirit Approach to Change

But, there’s no need for despair. You can overcome the pattern of broken resolutions with energy healing, particularly, Integrated Energy Healing (IET). IET helps you holistically break patterns and energy blocks on all levels – mind, body, and spirit. As an experienced spiritual life coach and energy healer, I find it especially well suited for this.

Integrated Energy Therapy (IET) Can Break Patterns, Opening You to Change

Because you are a holistic being, all changes involve the physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual levels simultaneously or collaboratively, depending on what is in your highest and best interest.

Energy healing can do this. It includes a wide range of mind-body-spirit healing practices that focus on the body’s subtle energy systems such as the chakras and aura, and how they relate to the human body, health, and well-being.

Two common examples of energy modalities are Reiki and Qigong. IET is less well-known, but equally effective, if not more so in certain situations. It can also be combined with Reiki and other energy-channeling modalities (for more details about IET, see What’s IET).

Clearing Patterns, Behaviors, and Energy Blocks With IET

I immediately think of IET whenever a client complains of being extremely stuck, or frustrated with and unable to change a behavior or set of circumstances. While working with her, she’d likely speak about multiple failed attempts at change or befuddlement over a lack of life-forward movement or its underlying cause. Furthermore, she may be doing the work, but just digging in and not moving forward.

It’s truly amazing what an IET clearing and healing process can do in this situation. That’s because its power is significant and comprehensive in that it works through all of the energy bodies – physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. IET also has a specific technique to clear the Soul Star chakra, the energy center above the crown chakra and aligned with a person’s true purpose.

The IET Clearing Process

While able to create immediately perceptible change; it often unfolds more slowly than that of Reiki or other energy healing modalities. For example, the subtle often imperceptibly small shifts occurring over one month can create significant cumulative and adventitious shifts in multiple areas of the client’s life.

Frequently, my clients overlook these micro changes. But, they can amount to incredible change. Furthermore, many clients don’t realize they have undergone such a bold transformation. They simply slip into a new way of being. And, upon reflection, they can be astounded.

The Importance of Doing the Work to Support Lasting Change

As with all healing, the client is the one who heals herself. She’s got to do work and reinforce the change process before, during, and after any energy healing. Change is an ongoing process. Not an instant in time.

The practitioner is merely a conduit or facilitator who helps the client assess their life force energy.

A lot can happen during and after a session, if you’re truly ready for the change and the desired change, intention, or resolution is in your highest and best interest.
