Increase Access to Healing | What to Expect From Remote Energy Healing

Vivid blue pink hand for remote energy healing to increase your access to healingAlthough not for everyone and every issue, remote energy healing can considerably increase your access to healing and restorative care.

As a Master energy healing practitioner, I noticed that distance energy treatments are as effective as the in-person energy healing sessions I offer in Bethesda, MD, and the Washington, DC area.

Virtual Sessions Spur Global Access to Healing

These days there are many healing services available online. As a result, the marketplace for the healing you want and need is essentially global especially if you’re looking for alternative modalities.

But, when it comes to personal care, the whole idea of not being present with your caregiver and the efficacy of remote care can seem strange and dubious.

Let’s ease your mind, and eliminate some of the mystery about what you can expect from remote healing. Embracing it for at least some of your care needs can greatly increase your access to that healing you want and need.

First, Make Sure You Know What Energy Healing Is

However, if you’re new to healing energy, find out more about how it works using these links for what the benefits are, what modalities are available, and what a typical energy healing session is like.

With this information at hand, you can make an informed decision about whether you prefer an in-person or virtual session.

What Is Energy Healing

It depends. There are so many different types of energy healing that it’s hard to say anything and be 100 percent inclusive or correct.

Nevertheless, it’s possible to generally and succinctly define it. Energy work is the channeling of life force energy to help you clear and balance your energy, revitalize and heal, and attain greater well-being.

While somewhat difficult to describe and measure, this life force is the essential subtle universal energy that gives life to all living beings, including you.

Remote Healing

By extension, remote energy healing is simply a session carried out without you physically present. The terms absent, distance, and distant are also used in place of the word remote.

An advantage of a remote session is scheduling isn’t necessary. In other words, your practitioner can perform a session at an unspecified time and healing will still occur just the same. In this case, you may or may not perceive the healing, but you will notice the results especially if you are open to the change.

For many, this is a perplexing aspect of distance healing. Nevertheless, this succulent should help. Much like all other forms of energy such as waves, light, sound, etc that behave according to quantum physics and quantum entanglement, subtle energy travels through time and space and is guided by the practitioner’s intention.

A remote energy healing session promotes the same healing as an in-person session. You’ll receive the benefits in either case. Typically, the proof stems from your personal experience.

Of course, human contact and direct interaction convey care slightly differently than the virtual experience. Some people prefer the intimacy of in-person sessions. They open more to this experience and thus receive more.

However, a virtual session does offer more options, convenience, the comfort of your personal space, a degree of privacy, and safety for those who are uncomfortable with close human engagement. Virtual healing can also be equally or more efficacious. It depends your on preferences.

Forms of Energy Healing

Many people use acupuncture and yoga for healing and wellness. Both energy healing modalities move and balance the body’s physical and energy systems and, in the process, bring about healing. However, to the best of my knowledge, acupuncture does not work remotely. And, yoga is an activity you engage in, not a service a therapist provides for you.

As a spiritual life coach and energy master/teacher, my definition of spiritual practices includes such as mediumship; psychic, angelic, and other forms of channeling or cocreation; shamanism; Reiki; Integrated Energy Therapy (IET); and ThetaHealing. In other words, spiritual healing is energy healing. I have experience with all of these modalities and all are offered remotely or in person.

However, if you’re new to healing energy, you should probably find out more about how it works, what are the benefits, what modalities are available, and what’s a typical energy healing session like. Then you can make an informed decision about the best way for you to gain access to healing and whether you prefer an in-person or virtual session.

What to Expect From Your Remote Energy Healing Session

Most energy practitioners will ask you about your intentions for the session. They may want to explore what you are seeking in addition to, or instead of, what your problem is.

Some practitioners ask you to list several questions you have related to your problem and desired outcome. Overall, the introductory process varies considerably. But the idea is to focus the session on your intentions and desired outcomes.

The healing may follow the orientation phase immediately or not. Again, it depends on the healer.

Distant sessions work quickly and much quicker than the in-person option. Sessions are typically 20 minutes or 50 minutes, depending on the particular request.

Choosing the Mode of Interaction

Some healers schedule a video session with you, while others do not. If you have a preference for the mode of interaction, take that into account before organizing a session.

Some reasons you may have to forgo the video option. You don’t have adequate internet access or you find it difficult to arrange a mutually convenient time to meet with your chosen practitioner who could be separated from you by many time zones. Or, maybe you don’t find the need to be present at all.

If the session is conducted online and scheduled, you might lie down comfortably at home to receive the healing. Alternatively, you might sit in front of your computer screen.

Do consider that an unscheduled remote session can offer you more time and space to assimilate and integrate the healing because you’re alone, in your own space, and can do it your way. It also allows more time for reflection before you receive feedback or ask questions.

Complementary and Integrated Healing

Energy healing can combine with other types of healing modalities such as crystals, aromatics, sound, etc. Complementary healing practices can be performed by the client (yoga or meditation) or the practitioner (crystals or sound).

The possibilities are endless and the access to healing is greatly magnified offering you many kinds of outcomes to match your specific wants and needs.
